I started Gonzaga Law School in September 1971 with 150 classmates, only 10 of whom were female. The boys made fun of those 10 girls, but only until the grades came out. One of those 10 girls had the best grades by far at graduation.
We need great attorneys and judges for our democracy to work. I’m voting for Alicia Berry for Superior Court — not because she is female, but because she is one of those brilliant legal minds that I’ve learned to respect.
