Letter: Vote Joe Burrowes for Superior Court judge

I am writing in support of Joe Burrowes for Superior Court judge. I have known Joe for at least 20 years, and am a true believer in his capabilities.

I first met Joe when he was a Hanford patrolman, just starting off his career of public service. Joe eventually decided to go to law school, and he successfully earned his degree at Gonzaga. His time in the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office gave him experience in understanding the criminal justice process. Eventually, Joe took on the responsibilities of court commissioner, and later was appointed to the judicial bench.

I have watched Joe’s career progression with no small amount of pride that I was a part of his professional beginnings. Joe has served with great integrity, compassion, and dedication. He takes his public servant duties to heart, and has emerged as a leader in the community, and a tireless contributor to the betterment of others.

What makes Joe special is his energy, charm, and compassion. He has proven his abilities as a judge, as a community leader, and public servant. I cannot imagine what more we could ask of a Superior Court judge than integrity, compassion, experience, and trust.
