Here are the Tri-City Herald’s candidate recommendations so far. The rest are coming soon
If your ballot hasn’t hit your mailbox by now, it should arrive any day.
We’ve started publishing our candidate recommendations online and in print and we will continue to finish those up over the next several days.
If you know who you want to vote for, that’s great. Go for it.
But if you want more information before you fill in the circles and put your ballot in the mail, then watch for the rest of our election editorials. They will be on our website before they are published in our hard-copy opinion section, which appears in print on Thursdays and Sundays, so check online for them if you can’t wait.
We interviewed candidates in 15 races and those were all recorded. The videos can be found on our website, and watching the give-and-take between the candidates is one of the best ways to get a feel for who’s running for office and why.
Our format is conversational, and that means there’s often some banter that goes on, which can be telling. Ballots are not due until Nov. 8, so there is plenty of time to do your research.
