Richland’s Howard Amon Park gets a dusting
An early morning bicyclist leaves tracks in the overnight dusting of snow through Howard Amon along the Columbia River in Richland.
Snowfall in the Tri-Cities seemed spotty but to the west it was causing delays and closures for some Yakima Valley schools and businesses and closures on Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass because of crashes.
The National Weather Service forecast says Thursday will be cloudy with a 20% chance of snow in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon with highs in the lower to mid 30s.
