1 person found dead, 1 injured in suspected homicide in Covington
The King County sheriff's office is investigating a suspected homicide after one person was found dead in a Covington home and a second person was found injured Friday morning.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a call in the 25000 block of 18th Place Southeast around 7:20 a.m., according to the sheriff's office. The injured person was taken to MultiCare Covington Medical Center; the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The sheriff's office's major crimes unit will be processing the scene for several hours, a spokesperson said Friday afternoon.
