West Seattle Bridge and Highway 99 closed due to Emerald City Ride
Westbound West Seattle Bridge and southbound Highway 99 were closed this morning as Seattle bikers participated in the annual Emerald City Ride.
The 20-mile ride, which supports bike advocacy group Cascade Bicycle Club, started near Lumen Field downtown, goes onto Highway 99, then onto the West Seattle Bridge, down Alki Beach and loops around West Seattle before heading back over the bridge to the stadium area.
