Seattle Public Library closed Thursday for staff training

If you're really hankering to borrow a book, Thursday might not be your day.

All Seattle Public Library branch locations are closed for staff training and team-building, the library system said.

This happens every year, by the way.

You'll still be able to drop off your books, but no library materials will be due Thursday.

If you use the branches for parking, the Central Library's garage will still be open, but all other branch parking garages will be closed.

Seattle Public Library locations will reopen with regular hours Friday.
