Longview Parks and Recreation Camp Imagine

Runs weekly from June 22 through Aug. 14

First grade through fifth grade students can join this camp held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an extended care option from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Check in and check out is at the Kessler Elementary gym, 1902 East Kessler Blvd., Longview. Each week has a different theme. Costs start at $1,080 for the entire summer.

Longview Parks and Recreation Happy Trails

Runs weekly from June 22 through Aug. 14

First grade through fifth grade students can join this Longview camp held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an extended care option. Each week has a different theme.

Activities include games, crafts, kayaking, archery, fishing, hikes and more.

Runs weekly from June 22 through Aug. 14

Youth entering sixth, seventh and eighth grades can join this camp held weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Check in and check out is at Mark Morris High School, 1602 Mark Morris Crt., Longview. Costs start at $179 per week.

Calvary church Vacation Bible School

June 22-26

This free camp, called Illumination Station, runs from 9 a.m. to noon June 22-26 for kindergarten through fifth graders. Register at calvarylv.org. Attendees meet at the church at 2655 38th Ave., Longview.

CVR youth running camp

June 24-26

The Cowlitz Valley Runners are hosting a free day camp from 9:30 a.m. until noon each day for incoming sixth through eighth graders at R.A. Long High School, 2903 Nochols Blvd., Longview.

The camp will introduce kids to aerobic conditioning, proper warmups, running games and activities, health and nutrition, running shoes and clothing, and more. The focus will be on movement and activities.

Attendees get a T-shirt, water bottle, snacks and a $5 discount to CVR's Go Fourth mile race on July 4.

Bible Sports Camp

July 13-15

Join a free Bible Sports Camp from 9-11:30 a.m. July 13-15 for ages 5-12 at Longview Church of Christ, 2219 50th Ave., Longview. The theme is "Facing your giants." Refreshments will be provided.

Summer theater camp in Kelso

Incoming fifth through ninth graders can join this theater camp, which runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. daily at Kelso High School's auditorium. The dress rehearsal for the show is 6-8 p.m. on the Friday of the camp, and the final performance is 4 p.m. the next day.
