Longview officials are asking residents to select the departments they'd like to see funded the most in preparation for budget discussions in July.

The survey includes questions about the quality of life in the city today and what it should look like in the future.

The first budget workshop is set for 6 p.m., July 7, in the Longview City Hall Training Room.
