Road work scheduled in Rose Valley, Kalama through June 22

Road crews are set to continue chip sealing and asphalt pavement overlay work through Monday in the Rose Valley area, near Kalama and on Coal Creek Road.

Drivers may encounter delays up to 10 minutes. Pilot cars will guide traffic on roads longer than half a mile in length.

Chip sealing is set to begin on Rose Valley Road at the end of the double lane Tuesday and work down to North Goble Creek Loop Road by the end of the day Wednesday. It will resume in the Goble Creek Loop area Monday.

Asphalt pavement overlay work is scheduled to take place on Kalama River Road Tuesday and Wednesday, on Old Pacific Highway Thursday and on China Garden Road Friday. It will resume on Coal Creek Road Monday.

Drivers are warned to use caution in construction area, follow instructions from construction and traffic control personnel and drive slowly on freshly oiled roads.
