Lewis and Clark Bridge to close for Rainier2Longview 10K Bridge Run

The Lewis and Clark Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday for the Rainier2Longview 10K Bridge Run.

Heavy traffic is expected before and after the closure, the Longview Public Works Department announced. Local commuters are warned to plan ahead and avoid crossing the bridge that morning if possible.

Emergency vehicles will still be able to access the bridge during the closure if necessary.

The run starts in Rainier City Park, crosses the bridge and winds through Longview to Lake Sacajawea. More details and a full race map are available at www.r2lbridgerun.com.
