Local mobile businesses prepare for Birthday Bash 2026 event at Moose Lodge in Centralia
May 29-Multiple local mobile businesses are preparing for Birthday Bash 2026, the second annual event celebrating anniversaries - Mobile Mermaid Espresso, Two Brewnettes Espresso & Tap Trailer and Lewis County Axe Throwing.
While still scheduled for Saturday, June 6, the Birthday Bash 2026 hours have been extended to 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Mobile Mermaid owner Stephanie Rouse. The event will be held at the Moose Lodge located at 1400 Grand Ave., Centralia.
"This all started because we realized that we all open at the same time and love supporting each other," Rouse said in a news release. "We also wanted to involve the community and give them a free event for families (to) come have a nice day together. There will also be a bounce house, mini golf, face painting and lots of family-friendly fun. This event is to shine a spotlight on the mobile small businesses that roll into our towns, set up in parking lots, pop up at events, and work tirelessly year after year to serve our community!"
Additionally, family-friendly music will be playing and local artisans and vendors will also have sale booths set up.
Along with once again featuring the three mobile businesses, Papa's Smokehouse, will also be celebrating its first year in business.
Other food trucks will also be at the Birthday Bash 2026 for a "food truck rodeo," including Tony's Ynot Italian Ice, J&L Ears and Rootbeers, Saydee's Food Truck, Kreative Kettlecorn and the Liquid Sunshine Beverage Company.
Additionally, vendors are donating numerous items and gift baskets to be raffled off during the event, along with a 50/50 raffle.
Raffle proceeds benefit the Moose Lodge as a thank you for letting the mobile businesses hold the Birthday Bash 2026.
"Come support small. Come shop local. Come eat good food. Come laugh and play with your family! Come be part of something built by the heart of our mobile community," Rouse added.
