Raymond man injured in collision off state Route 6

May 26-A Raymond man was hospitalized Friday following a single-vehicle collision on state Route 6 east of Frances, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

According to WSP, Paul E. Conder, 76, was driving a 1995 MAZDA B2300 pickup truck eastbound on Route 6 near milepost 19 at about 4:25 p.m. May 22 when his truck left the roadway and landed in the eastbound ditch.

Troopers said Conder was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. They do not know if Conder was wearing a seat belt.

In its incident report, WSP indicated the cause of the collision was under investigation and said it was unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved.

Troopers said the truck was totaled.
