Centralia woman suspected of DUI after car rolls approaching I-5
A Centralia woman faces DUI charges following a single-car crash near Harrison Avenue and Interstate 5 on Tuesday, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Lisa M. Johnson, 41, was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital following the incident. Troopers said she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
According to WSP, Johnson was in a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic driving southbound from Harrison Avenue into the collector-distributor lane of Interstate 5 when she lost control of her car.
The Sonic veered left, rolled and came to rest on its top, troopers said.
The collision reportedly occurred at about 8:11 p.m. April 28.
In its incident report, WSP said the cause of the collision was speed and noted that drugs or alcohol were involved.
The car was listed as totaled.
Johnson was booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 2:30 a.m. April 29, according to jail records.
