Ridgefield School District celebrates April employees and students of the month

RIDGEFIELD - During the April 14 board of directors meeting, Ridgefield School District officials recognized the April employees and students of the month.

The April employees of the month are Amber Vesely, paraeducator at Union Ridge Elementary School, and Lynn Bridge, paraeducator at the Early Learning Center.

Vesely goes above and beyond each and every day to support her students, offering not only academic assistance but also encouragement and compassion. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Vesely brings patience, positivity and a genuine care for others that make a lasting impact on both students and staff.

Bridge goes the extra mile, even coming in on weekends to support the students and staff at the Early Learning Center. She connects with all students, supports staff with crafts and prep and treats everyone with genuine respect.

The April students of the month are: Pre-K student at the Early Learning Center, Shakira Ilemelong; second grade student at South Ridge Elementary School, Lucien Bliss; fourth grade student at Union Ridge Elementary School, Amelia Dahlstrom; sixth grade student at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School, Kahena Dudley; seventh grade student at View Ridge Middle School, Kolton Lightheart; eighth grade student at Wisdom Ridge Academy, Faith Tyrrell; and freshman at Ridgefield High School, Jace DeShazer.
