Altrusa International of Longview-Kelso awarded 12 graduating seniors at its annual luncheon on April 15 at the Kelso-Longview Elks.

The awards honor high school seniors who have overcome challenges to graduate, according to a notice from the organization.

Honorees attended Castle Rock, Kalama, Kelso, Mark Morris, RA Long and Toutle Lake high schools.

Nancy Baldwin, Kelso School District youth and family support specialist, was the guest speaker at the luncheon.
