Centralia School District to host town hall next Tuesday

The Centralia School District will host a town hall meeting Tuesday, April 28, as part of its ongoing dialogue with local students, parents, staff and community members.

"This event is an opportunity for stakeholders to engage directly with district leadership, share feedback and take part in meaningful conversations that will help shape the future of our schools," the district said in a recent news release.

The town hall runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Centralia High School Library. Pizza will be provided to attendees.

A translator will also be on hand.

According to the district, attendees will get to meet with school board members and participate in an open forum to ask questions and share input.

District leaders, meanwhile, plan to discuss "key topics impacting the district" such as academics, student behavior and the district's budget.

"The Centralia School District encourages all community members to participate and be part of this important dialogue," the district said.

Virtual attendees can attend via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/94120138545, or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/centraliaschool.

The Centralia High School Library is located at 813 Eshom Road.
