Power restored to 4,800 customers in Clatskanie

Nearly 5,000 customers in Clatskanie were without power as of about 4:35 p.m. Monday due to a car accident.

As of 8 p.m., Clatskanie PUD reports the outage had been fixed.

The Clatskanie PUD reported that at about 3:30 p.m., a car collided with a pole, causing outages across town.

Crews worked to restore services since then.

As of 4:37 p.m., about 4,819 customers were without electricity.
