Savings Grace Church's Easter events draws 145 community members

BATTLE GROUND - Saving Grace Church of the Nazarene hosted a large crowd of community members during their two Community Egg Hunts Easter Sunday.

Church volunteers stuffed thousands - two large storage totes full - of eggs and the Easter Bunny helped them hide all these treasures for two hunts: kids up to 5 years old and kids 6 and older.

In addition to all the treasure hunting, families enjoyed face painting, (more) treats, crafts, games and visits with the Easter Bunny.

"We so enjoy seeing the overwhelming joy on the kids' faces, hearing their shouts of enthusiasm and, most importantly, sharing the many blessings the Lord has provided to us as a church and to our community," said Will Swaney, the church's pastor. "One little girl summed it up perfectly when asked if she was excited: She answered, while bouncing on her toes, 'I'm a million excited.' Can't get much better than that: we are a million excited too, to be Jesus in our community, especially on special days like Easter."
