Nature Nurture Farmacy to celebrate Earth Day in downtown Chehalis
Nature Nurture Farmacy invites the community to celebrate spring, connection and the natural world at the eighth annual Earth Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, on Northeast Boistfort Street in downtown Chehalis.
This free, family-friendly event, presented in partnership with the Chehalis Farmers Market, brings together local farmers, artisans and community organizations for an afternoon centered on healthy land and communities, according to a news release from Nature Nurture Farmacy.
Attendees can enjoy:
-Plant starts from local farmers
-A hands-on potting station for kids
-Face painting and Garden Guide coloring books
-Live music
-Farm animals such as a mini donkey
-Local vendors and community resource booths
-A community labyrinth
The celebration will take place in the same location as the Chehalis Farmers Market, which runs Tuesdays from May through October. The partnership between the two organizations continues to grow, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening local food systems and creating accessible, community-centered spaces, the news release stated.
Community members can also visit additional Earth Day activities happening nearby, including a clean-up event hosted by Experience Chehalis at the Lewis County Historical Museum.
