Burlington-Edison High School boys' golf team dominant in match

CAMANO ISLAND - The Burlington-Edison High School boys' golf team won an eight-team Northwest Conference match Monday at Camaloch Golf Course.

The Tigers had a five-golfer total 385 over the 18 holes, 32 strokes better than runner-up Oak Harbor.

Sedro-Woolley finished fifth at 462.

Burlington-Edison's Wyatt Brownell took medalist honors with a score of 64, 13 strokes better than the runner-up.

Burlington-Edison's Logan Arendse and Sedro-Woolley's Riley Friebell tied for fourth at 79.

Burlington-Edison's Cooper Winch was sixth (80), while Cruz Hanstead and Cael Hamilton finished tied for seventh (81).

Sedro-Woolley's Cadel Ammons finished 15th with an 88, while Colton Turner tied for 19th after a 91, Wilder Ammons was 35th with a 101 and Nathan Whitehouse 36th following his round of 103.
