According to SafeGraph, a data company that records mobile data to measure foot traffic, the most popular grocery store in Washington has remained the most visited for over three years.
Walmart has been the most visited grocery store in Washington state compared to Costco, Fred Meyer, Safeway and WinCo Foods for years.
Safeway was the second most visited in April 2022, followed by Costco and Fred Meyer.
Grocery store popularity also varies by city.
