These cupcakes are Washington’s best, Yelp says. What to know about the treats
This family-owned bakery in Washington serves up the best cupcakes in the state, according to Yelp.
Tasty Doux Bakery in Kent ranked No. 1 in Yelp’s 2021 review of the best cupcakes in every state.
Kent is about 20 miles south of Seattle.
Customers can purchase individual signature cupcake flavors at this “little gem,” including strawberry cheesecake, hot fudge sundae, pandan special, peanut butter lover and red velvet cupcakes.
Cupcakes can also be purchased by the dozen or for baby showers and gender reveal parties, their website says.
Yelp, an online service where users post reviews and ratings of various business, came out with the best cupcake list on Dec. 9 by ranking the volume and ratings of each business that were in the “cupcakes category.”
Although Yelp highlighted the bakery for its cupcakes, reviewers raved about the cream puffs.
The “light” and “fluffy” pastries are filled with cream after buying them.
“The cream puffs are to die for! The best I have ever had!!” one Yelp reviewer said.
The bakery also sells cakes, macarons, pies and holiday cookies.
