Teens missing from Washington youth home found with California fugitive, cops say

Teenage girls missing from Washington have been found with a California fugitive in Oregon, police said.

Officers said they saw a “suspicious car” outside Roseburg Municipal Airport and found Maurice Pierre Hurth of Suisun City, California, with three teenage girls inside, KOMO News reported. Police said Hurth had warrants out for his arrest from San Francisco, Solano, and Fairfield.

Hurth was arrested and charged with “trafficking in persons, compelling prostitution, custodial interference, and encouraging child abuse,” according to The World.

Hurth was booked into Douglas County Corrections, the newspaper reported.

The girls, all under 18, were reported missing from a Seattle area youth home, according to 6ABC Action News.

The teens were taken to Douglas County Juvenile Shelter in Roseburg, the TV station reported.
