A Southwestern Idaho woman was charged with murder after her infant died from his injuries four days after being hospitalized.

Police were called by paramedics to a home Monday on the 2000 block of North Swainson Avenue in Meridian, just west of Boise. The EMTs were dispatched to the home around 1 p.m. for an unresponsive 2-month-old boy and decided to alert police, according to Meridian City officers.

The mother, Danielle Radue, 26, was arrested Monday evening on one count felony injury to a child. She made bail and was released, according to Meridian Public Information Officer Stephany Galbreaith.

Four days later, at around 6 p.m. Friday, the boy died from his injuries, which were not detailed in a Meridian Police news release.

Hours after the boy’s death, officers executed a warrant and rearrested Radue. She was subsequently charged with one count of felony first-degree murder.

Radue is being held on $1 million bail at Ada County Jail.
