A sales tax request to upgrade Kennewick’s Three Rivers Convention Center was still failing with the latest ballot count Thursday.

Kennewick voters were rejecting the Kennewick Public Facilities District’s request for a two-tenths of a percent sales tax increase by 53 percent to 47 percent.
