Why are you running?

I feel like we need a change. The same individuals have been on the board of directors for nearly 20 years. It’s time for someone new to come on board and ask some questions.

What is your experience?

I’ve lived in the South District for 45 years and my husband has worked for the South Columbia Irrigation District for 30 years. We have a lot of knowledge about the area and the community the district serves.

If elected, what changes would you plan to make?

The board of directors needs to be more involved with the day-to-day goings-on with the running of the district. Lack of oversight has raised questions about spending and hiring practices and it’s time to dig deep and get some answers.
