Watch online debates with Tri-Cities candidates on November ballots

The local chapter of the League of Women Voters has scheduled online debates for the public to learn more about candidates up for election on Nov. 3 on Benton and Franklin County ballots.

The debates will use an interactive rebuttal style format, according to the League of Women Voters of Benton and Franklin Counties, which is organizing them with the Northwest Public Broadcasting.

Debates can be watched by linking to the League’s Facebook page at lwv-bf.org and they also may be posted there for later viewing.

Debates will be 7 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:

Sept. 30

Benton County Commissioner District 1, Jerome Delvin and Justin Raffa.

Benton County Commissioner District 3, Will McKay and Jim Beaver.

Franklin County Commissioner District 1, Kim Lehrman and Brad Peck.

Oct. 1

Franklin County Commissioner District 2, Rocky Mullen and Ana Ruiz Peralta.

Superior Court Judge Position 1, Dave Petersen and Sharon Brown.

Legislative District 8 Representative Position 1, Brad Klippert and Shir Regev.

Oct. 8

Legislative District 16 Representative Position 1, Frances Chvatal and Mark Klicker.

Legislative District 16 Representative Position 2, Skyler Rude and Carly Coburn.

Legislative District 16 Senator, Perry Dozier and Danielle Garbe Reser.

Oct. 9

Legislative District 8 Representative Position 2, Larry Stanley and Matt Boehnke.

Legislative District 9 Representative Position 1, Brett Borden and Mary Dye.
