Benton County extends hours for voter registration
The Benton County Auditor’s Office is extending its office hours to accommodate voter registrations leading up to the Nov. 8 general election.
The extended hours apply to the voting centers at the county courthouse in Prosser, 620 Market St., the Kennewick Annex, 5600 W. Canal Drive and the Richland Annex, 101 Wellsian Way.
The last day for new Washington voters to register is Oct. 31. Deadline to change registrations has passed.
Franklin County intends to offer extended hours but has not confirmed the details.
The Benton County auditor’s hours are:
- Oct., 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Nov. 2, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Nov. 7, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nov. 8, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
