Newhouse launches re-election campaign in Yakima, Tri-Cities

Rep. Dan Newhouse, R.-Wash., will launch his re-election campaign at a pair of events April 22 in Yakima and the Tri-Cities.

The first-term Republican will appear with Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, at a breakfast starting at 7 a.m. at the Yakima Valley Hotel & Conference Center, 1507 N. First St. The event is a fundraiser and is open to the public. Tickets are $50. The program is 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Walden chairs the Republican National Campaign Committee.

Newhouse will appear with his predecessor, former U.S. Rep. Doc Hastings, at a lunch in the Tri-Cities beginning with registration at 11:30 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Columbia Center, 1101 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Kennewick. Tickets are $50. The program is noon to 1 p.m.
