3 weeks of Hwy 395 repairs begin Monday. Where to expect delays
Drivers should expect to encounter construction crews at a key Tri-Cities underpass starting Monday.
The Washington Department of Transportation said repair crews will seal cracks and conduct other work on Highway 395 at Fourth Avenue, which runs beneath the highway.
Work will take place between 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Mondays to Thursdays, and will take about three weeks.
Traffic will be shifted to keep both lanes open during most of the project.
However, after about two weeks, crews will work on the highway itself and will close lanes on Fourth Avenue for up to 24 hours for one to two days.
Pedestrian detours also will be set up. The project is dependent on weather and the schedule could change.
