#SnapSlice
Best Pizza Ever at the Pasco Specialty Kitchen has given away more than 500 slices of free pizza and promises to keep going as long as it can to support people who rely on SNAP benefits to buy groceries.
Tri-Citians have donated $2,000 to support Best Pizza Ever, it said in social media posts.
The specialty kitchen is at 110 S. Fourth Ave. in downtown Pasco.
How to help
The Port of Pasco, which operates the Tri-Cities Airport, is accepting donations of gas and grocery cards to support the air traffic controllers and TSA agents who are working without pay during the shutdown.
The port will ensure gifts are distributed in accord with policies governing gifts to public employees. Bring donations to the airport office, on the second floor above the main entrance.
