TrumpRx Adds Hundreds of Generic Drugs: What It Means for Prices
Mark Cuban was among the health care business officials standing alongside President Donald Trump on Monday, as his company added hundreds of generic drugs to the government’s TrumpRx website.
The businessman, who backed former Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, was at the White House to announce that his company will partner with the president’s effort to lower drug costs-an effort that has been criticized by some Democrats and experts for allegedly not offering the lowest available price for some medications.
Trump, who announced around 600 drugs would be added to the site, said he was seeking to continue to build TrumpRx up, allowing Americans better access to affordable treatments.
“We went from the most expensive, to the least expensive,” the president said of U.S. drug costs Monday, alongside officials from Amazon and GoodRx.
