Lucky casino player spends $3 on slot machine — then wins huge prize in Las Vegas
A lucky lottery player spent a few dollars on a slot machine in Las Vegas and won a much bigger prize.
They hit the $122,720 jackpot.
The Texas player was at Treasure Island on July 16, the hotel and casino said in a news release. They wagered $3 on the Monte Carlo Spin and Win slot machine and won the jackpot.
The pirate-themed resort had a few jackpot winners in June, the hotel said.
A player from Midway, California, won $13,726 on a slot machine called Solstice Celebration Triple Sparkle Maxi.
Someone from Tasmania hit the Buffalo Ascension Bonus jackpot and took home $12,096.
More recently, a player won nearly $2 million from a slot machine at the Encore at Wynn on July 14, McClatchy News reported.
