People from all over the country and the world — flock to Las Vegas to enjoy the nightlife, the entertainment and to try their luck at casinos.

One international traveler got their money’s worth when they hit a jackpot at the Encore at Wynn on July 14.

The lucky player put $60 into a Buffalo Power Pay slot machine and hit the $1,935,806.31 jackpot, according to a news release from the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas.

They won the big prize at 1:44 a.m., the hotel said.

The Wynn and Encore are two hotels with curved bronze-colored towers on the northern end of The Strip.

In March, a player landed a $1,037,828 jackpot from a slot machine in The Palazzo casino at The Venetian Resort, McClatchy News reported.

They wagered $25 on a Dragon Link game when they won.
