Bart the Chihuahua needs a bath — then a rescue — when tub time goes awry. See the video

If Bart didn’t like baths before, he’s definitely not a fan now, Southern California firefighters said.

Firefighters rescued Bart, a Chihuahua, after his paw got trapped in a bathtub drain in a Mission Viejo home, a video posted by the Orange County Fire Authority showed.

The video shows firefighters working to remove the drain with Bart’s paw still stuck inside.

“Then, they skillfully took away layers of the metal grate so they could ultimately free him,” firefighters wrote. A firefighter finally pulls the remnants of the drain off Bart’s paw.

“Bart was really happy to jump into moms arms after the ordeal,” firefighters wrote. “He even barked a thank you to the crew before they left.”

The video shows a firefighter playing with Bart as he runs around outside his home.

He was not injured by his ordeal, firefighters said.

“You guys totally rock!” read one comment on the video.
