A falling tree limb injured six people at a Santa Rosa park, California firefighters reported.

Firefighters responded to calls for help at Spring Lake Park at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, July 15, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said on Facebook.

A limb fell onto six people at the park, firefighters said. One person suffered major injuries while another had moderate injuries. The other four had minor injuries.

Five ambulances responded along with a fire engine and rescue truck, firefighters said.

“That is awful,” read a comment on the Facebook post.

“Hoping for a quick recovery of those injured,” another said.

Santa Rosa is about 55 miles north of San Francisco.
