‘Big Bang Theory’ star’s estate lists in California. Another celebrity also lived there
One of America’s favorite geeks from the CBS comedy “Big Bang Theory” is bidding adieu (again) to his sophisticated retreat-like home in California.
Johnny Galecki, who played Leonard Hofstadter on the series, has listed his Los Angeles estate for $11.9 million, which is a leap from the $9.2 million he dropped for the six-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom residence in 2015, the Los Angeles Times reported. The actor put it up for lease a year ago.
But, Galecki isn’t the only celebrity that owned the 7,415-square-foot estate: Action superstar Jason Statham also owned the house along with Ben Stiller (both at different times), Architectural Digest said.
The house was built in 1929 and has an abundance of privacy thanks to high walls and a wood gate.
“Set on over half an acre surrounded by mature trees and lush tropical landscaping,” the listing on Realtor.com says. “Previously restored by design architecture studio Roman & Williams with sensitive attention to period details, materials and craftsmanship rarely seen.”

According to Architectural Digest, a ton of well-known stars also live in the area including Winona Ryder, Russell Brand, and Felicity Huffman.
Even though Galecki is widely known for his role on “Big Bang Theory,” he’s been in the film and TV industry since he was a child and has an extensive resume that includes “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Roseanne,” according to IMDb.com.
