PNNL scientist represents U.S. at United Nations radiation session
Bruce Napier served as a member of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) at the 63rd session of the committee in June in Austria.
He is a staff scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, with expertise in radiation dose assessment and is a certified health physicist.
He has been working at PNNL for 39 years. Napier was one of 11 U.S. delegates. It is his second year of serving on UNSCEAR.
