PNNL cybersecurity risk analysis tool licensed
Technology developed by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to assess cyber risks simultaneously with physical risks has been licensed for commercial use.
RhinoCorps, a small business and vulnerability assessment tool developer in Albuquerque, N.M., has licensed the Physical and Cyber Risk Analysis Tool, or PACRAT. It plans to integrate it into is physical vulnerability assessment tool called Simajin.
Technology currently commercially available only observes either the physical or cyber domains.
PACRAT was brought to the attention of investors through the Department of Homeland Security’s program to license cybersecurity technology, the Cyber Security Division’s Transition to Practice program. It is the fifth technology licensed through the program.
