Joyce Ellen Rouse, 85, of Burbank, died Jan. 27 in Burbank.

She was born in Allendale, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 80 years.

She was a retired executive assistant for the Columbia School District.

Manuel Alaniz Jr.

Manuel Alaniz Jr., 41, of Pasco, died Jan. 22 in Pasco.

He was born in Pasco and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

Karen L. Rockwell

Karen L. Rockwell, 55, of Kennewick, died Jan. 24 in Kennewick.

She was born in Everett and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 30 years.

She was a veterinary clinic receptionist for Pet Medical Center in the Tri-Cities.

Larry G. Johnston

Larry Gale Johnston, 79, of Kennewick, died Jan. 24 in Kennewick.

He was born in Ritzville and lived in the Tri-Cities for 33 years.

He was a retired operating engineer representative.

Ivan T. Boe

Ivan T. Boe, 60, of Benton City, died Jan. 26 in Benton City.

He was born in Seattle and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 33 years.

He was the retired owner/operator of Ivan Boe Construction in Tri-Cities.

Ignacio V. Resendez

Ignacio V. Resendez, 94, of Sunnyside, died Jan. 27 in Prosser.

He was born in Weslaco, Texas, and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

He was the retired director of M.S.R.T.S.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
