He was a retired teacher.

Sidney “Sid” Marvin Swindler, 81, of Kennewick, died May 10.

He was born in Rock Springs, Wyo., and was a retired quality assurance inspector and engineer.

Dennis L. Pedersen

Dennis Lavern Pedersen, 71, of Kennewick, died May 16 in Kennewick.

He was born in Sunnyside and lived in the Tri-Cities for 34 years.

He was a retired pharmacist.

Sherman O. Schafer

Sherman Otto Schafer, 93, of Sunnyside, died May 16 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Nyssa, Ore., and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

He was a retired diversified farmer.

Eleonora Noryk

Eleonora Noryk, 85, of Kennewick, died May 14 in Kennewick.

She was born in Belarus and lived in Kennewick for 13 years.

She was a homemaker.

Phyllis Catherine Schut, 93, of Kennewick, died May 15 in Kennewick.

She was born in Cambridge, Neb., and lived in Kennewick for 20 years.

She was a retired teacher for a school district.

Keith E. D. Chenoweth

Keith Edward Dale Chenoweth, 78, of West Richland, died May 15 in West Richland.

He was born in Elkins, W.V., and lived in West Richland for 24 years.

He was a retired contract administrator for Bechtel.

Javier Salgado, 84, of Granger, died May 18 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Guerrero, Mexico, and was a longtime Granger resident.

He was a retired farm foreman.
