She was born in Hokkaido, Japan, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 50 years.

She was a retired cook.

Karen A. O’Connor

Karen Ann O’Connor, 64, of Kennewick, died May 7 in Kennewick.

She was born in Sunnyside and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

She was the retired coordinator for the Fast Flux Test Facility Visitor Center at the Hanford site.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara W. Carney

Barbara Wanda Carney, 63, of Richland, died May 6 in Richland.

She was born in Great Falls, Mont., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 43 years.

She was retired.

Patricia L. Walker

Patricia L. Walker, 67, of Connell, died May 6 in Kennewick.

She was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., and lived in Connell for 44 years.

She was a retired teacher for the North Franklin School District.

Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Walter G. Mackie

Walter George Mackie, 86, of Kennewick, died May 6 in Kennewick.

He was born in Waltham, Ma., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 16 years.

He was a retired salesperson for Vicrtex.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Dean E. Leffler Jr.

Dean Everett Leffler Jr., 84, died May 3.

He lived in the Tri-Cities area for three years and retired from being an administrator in the medical field and served 20 years in the U.S. Navy.

The Neptune Society of Kennewick is in charge of arrangements.
