Ricardo Torres Varel, 84, of Mabton, died July 18 in Yakima.
He was born in San Antonio Del Cipres, Zacatecas, Mexico, and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.
He was a retired agricultural worker.

Taylor Christian Scoles, 32, of Kennewick, died July 6 in Kennewick.
He was born in Everett, Wash., and lived in Kennewick for 10 months.
He was a maintenance worker at Wendy’s.

Carla Jean Phillips, 71, of Kennewick, died July 18 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.
She was born in Rapid City, S.D., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 39 years.
She was a a retired salesperson at Ranch & Home.

E’Reani Schmidli, 91, of Pasco, died July 18 in Pasco.
She was born in Harrah, Okla., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1955.
She was a farm wife from Pioneer Ranch.
