Velma Lois (McCord) Jarrett, 87, of Kennewick, died Jan. 25 in Kennewick.

She was born in Kingsville, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 74 years.

She was a retired life insurance agent.

Dwight D. Langer

Dwight David Langer, 74, of Richland, died Jan. 23 in Richland.

He was born in Peru, Ind., and lived in Richland for eight years.

He was the retired general manager for the public utility district in Wasco County, Ore.

Wendell S. Brown

Wendell Steven Brown, 65, of Kennewick, died Jan. 25 at home.

He was born in Hermiston, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for the past five years.

He was a retired installation and maintenance specialist for RMF Freezers in Seattle.

Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Ethel F. Dunbar

Ethel Francis Dunbar, 96, of Sunnyside, died Jan. 24 in Prosser.

She was born in Havre, Mont., and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

She was a retired farmer and cattle rancher.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Sanjay Heavilin

Raymond Sanjay Heavilin, 55, of Richland, died Jan. 19 in Richland.

He was born in India and lived in the Tri-Cities since 2001.

He was an associate at Winco Foods.

William ‘Jim’ Homer

William “Jim” James Homer, 88, of Harrington, Wash., died Jan. 23 in Richland.

He was born in Charlo, Mont., and lived in Burbank for 25 years.

He was a retired pipe fitter at Boise Cascade.

Elizabeth R. Axup

Elizabeth Roxanne Axup, 65, of West Richland, died Jan. 20 in West Richland.

She was born in Ogden, Utah, and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1994.

She was a homemaker.

Marita L. Verhei

Marita Louise Verhei, 61, of Pasco, died Jan. 23 in Richland.

She was born in Spokane and lived in the Tri-Cities for eight years.

She was a teacher at Prosser Elementary.

Steve Alan Blodgett, 72, of Kennewick, died Jan. 25 at home.

He was born in Hamilton, Mont., and lived in Kennewick for 49 years.

He was a retired financial controller in AG Engineering and was a Kennewick Hospital District commissioner.

Kevin Scott Logan, 62, of Kennewick, died Jan. 25 in Richland.

He was born in The Dalles, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for seven years.

He was retired from the hospitality industry.

Roger H. Anderson, 85, of Kennewick, died Jan. 22 in Kennewick.

He was born in Pasco and lived the majority of his life in Richland.

Robert “Bob” Addison Shea, 90, of Kennewick, died Jan. 25 at Trios Health Southridge Hospital

He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 81 years.

The U.S. Marine Corps veterans was a retired trainer in the construction field.

Evelyn Davis

Evelyn Davis, 93, died Jan. 24.

She lived in the Tri Cities area for 40 years and worked as a computer operator at Richland City Hall.
