Melvin Leon Wood, 87, of Kennewick, died Oct. 3 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.
He was born in Scholle, N.M., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1965.
He was a retired rancher and horse trainer.

He was born in Powell, Wyo., and lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1966.
