Hjalmar Perry Johnson Jr., 82, of Pasco, died Sept. 14 in Pasco.

He was born in Bismarck, N.D., and lived in the Tri-Cities for eight years.

He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Sandra Kay Clark, 78, of Pasco, died Sept. 17 at home.

She was born in Wisconsin and lived in the Tri-Cities for four years.

She was a retired para-educator and certified nurse assistant.

Connie J. Bodey

Connie Jean Bodey, 70, of Kennewick, died Sept. 15.

She was born in Douglas, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 15 years.

She was a homemaker.

Lynn VanWieringen, 52, of Sunnyside, died Sept. 16 in Sunnyside.

She was born in Everett and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

She was a lab manager in the dairy industry.

Gary Lyn Nichols, 75, of Pasco, died Sept. 15 in Pasco.

He was born in Yakima and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

He was a retired switchman for the BNSF Railway.

Robert A. Lucas, 79, of Prosser, died Sept. 18 in Prosser.

He was born in Hillsboro, Ill., and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Rene J. Heilig, 63, of Kennewick, died Sept. 15 in Kennewick.

She was born in La Grande, Ore., and lived in Kennewick for 41 years.

She was a retired finance specialist for Lamb Weston.

Jack F. Cooper

Jack F. Cooper, 92, of Sunnyside, died Sept. 16 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Burleson, Texas, and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired assistant fire chief.

George R. Lorraine

George Roy Lorraine, 95, of Walla Walla, died Sept. 14 in Walla Walla.

The Navy veteran was born in San Jose, Calif., and was a retired engineer in quality control.
