Stephen ‘Steve’ J. Moberly

Stephen “Steve” John Moberly, 77, of Pasco, died Aug. 5 in Yakima.

He was born in Baker City, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for over 55 years.

He served in the Army and Navy Reserves and was a retired mechanic in the construction industry.

Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, Pasco, is in charge of arrangements.

JoAnn Schneider

JoAnn Schneider, 77, of Grandview, died Aug. 5 in Seattle.

She was born in Prosser and lived there for 36 years.

She was a retired general laborer.

Billie J. Kortge

Billie Jeanne Kortge, 75, of Kennewick, died Aug. 3 at home.

She was born in The Dalles, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 20 years.

She was a retired mental health counselor.

Philip D. Leahy

Philip Donald Leahy, 88, of Burbank, died Aug. 5 in Kennewick.

He was born in Baltimore, MD, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 70 years.

He was a U.S. Marine veteran and former Richland School District teacher and technician at the Hanford site.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Brian Tobin

Brian Tobin, 43, of Mabton, died Aug. 5 in Mabton.

He was born in Yakima and lived in the Yakima Valley for 10 years.

He was a truck driver.

Daniel Bueno

Daniel Bueno, 36, of Kennewick, died Aug. 5 in Kennewick.

He was born in Wenatchee and lived in the Tri-Cities for 26 years.

He was a chef in the food industry.

James ‘Jim’ M. Winkel

James “Jim” Mearl Winkel, 68, of Kennewick, died Aug. 5 at home.

He was born in Boise, Idaho, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 45 years.

He was retired from AG HVAC.

Gayle L. Cook

Gayle Lynn Cook, 60, of Kennewick, died Aug. 5 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.

She was born in Prineville, Ore., and moved to Kennewick from Vancouver, Wash., eight months ago.

She was a homemaker.

Michael L. Coffey

Michael Lee Coffey, 77, of the Tri-Cities, died Aug. 5.

He lived in the Tri Cities area for 45 years and worked in technical operations at Battelle.

David E. Thompson

David Eugene Thompson, 81, of Pasco, died Aug. 3.

He was born in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

He was a retired programmer analyst for The Boeing Company.

Shawn D. Windom

Shawn Douglas Windom, 66, of Benton City, died Aug. 4 in Benton City.

He was born in Lebannon, Ore., and lived in Benton City and the Tri-Cities area for 39 years.

He was a circuit board designer for Cadwell Laboratories/Regnostics Inc.

Steven K. Cain

Steven Keith Cain, 69, of Richland, died Aug. 6 at home.

He was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, and lived most of his life in the Tri-Cities.

He was a retired kitchen helper at restaurants.

Joyce E. Scott, 90, of Pasco, died Aug. 5 in Pasco.

She was born in St. Paul, Minn., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 48 years.

She was a homemaker.
