He was born in Kilgore, Texas, and lived in Tri-Cities for 78 years.

He was a retired teacher at Columbia Basin College.

Bernardo Lewis, 72, of Richland, died Nov. 28 in Richland.

He was born in Bogota, Colombia, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 36 years.

He was a retired computer consultant.

John George April, 68, of Richland, died Nov. 23 in Richland.

He was born in San Jose, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 31 years.

He was a retired construction project manager.

Shirley Jeanne Bayless, 88, of Pasco, died Nov. 28 in Pasco.

She was born in San Francisco, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 12 years.

She was a retired self-employed bookkeeper and homemaker.

Lionel R. Aguilar

Lionel R. Aguilar, 71, of Sunnyside, died Nov. 30 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Mabton and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired fabric installer.

Gary A. Johnson

Gary Arthur Johnson, 82, of Kennewick, died Nov. 28 in Pasco.

He was born in Redding, Calif., and lived in Kennewick for 14 years.

The Air Force veteran was retired from the Nevada Department of Transportation.

Nancy Jo McDowell, 82, of Kennewick, died Dec. 1 in Kennewick.

She was born in Salem, Ill., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 72 years.
