Peter Eugene Seda, 75, of Kennewick, died Aug. 6 in Kennewick.

He was born in North Platte, Neb., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 43 years.

He was a retired cardiologist.

Jacqueline Jackson

Jacqueline Jackson, 54, of Kennewick, died Aug. 7 in Kennewick.

She was born in Richland and was a livelong Tri-Cities resident.

She was a retired bookkeeper.

Russell H. Daniel

Russell Hezekiah Daniel, 95, of Pasco, died Aug. 7 at Tri-Cities Hospice Center.

He was born in Chicago, Ill., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

The U.S. Navy veteran was a retired math teacher in Bremerton and at Pasco High School.

Dane M. Long

Dane Mattos Long, 87, of Richland, died Aug. 7 in Pasco.

He was born in Santiago, Chile, and lived in Richland for seven years.

The U.S. Army veteran was a retired hospital administrator for Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

James J. Hennessey

James Joseph Hennessey, 102, died Aug. 5 at Chaplaincy Hospice House.

He was born in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

The U.S. Army Air Corps veteran was the retired parks and recreation director for the city of Cheney.

Joy P. Skulason

Joy Paula Skulason, 70, of Moses Lake, died Aug. 2 in Moses Lake.

She was born in Seattle and was a retired business owner.

Marcelina Ortega

Marcelina Ortega, 65, of Sunnyside, died Aug. 7 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

She was born in Prosser and was a lifelong Lower Yakima Valley resident.

She was a librarian at the Sunnyside Library.

Carolyn F. Maki

Carolyn Fay Maki, 88, of Pasco, died Aug. 7 in Kennewick.

She was born in Kearney, Neb., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 60 years.

She was a homemaker.

Julia Shrode-Johann, 30, of Zillah, died July 30 in Zillah.

She was born in Richland and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 30 years.

Bette Jean Hogan, 84, of Kennewick, died June 26 in Kennewick.

She was born in Yakima and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.
